This position is responsible for providing a variety of administrative and secretarial support to the department.
Manages the clerical workflow for the office.
Prepares memos, letters, agendas, minutes, presentations, forms, procedures and policies.
Prepares monthly and annual reports of departmental activities.
Assists with the preparation of the annual departmental budget, monitors expenditures under the current budget.
Prepares and monitors leave requests and timesheets for the department.
Maintains an inventory of office supplies for the department; prepare and submits requisitions supply as needed.
Processes Open Records Requests for the department.
Coordinates training and travel arrangements for all department staff members.
Performs duties of the Administrative Secretary at the front desk in City Hall in his or her absence.
Knowledge required by the position include:
Knowledge of bookkeeping practices.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Skill in operating such office equipment as a personal computer, typewriter, calculator and copier.
Skill in organizing and maintaining files Skill in dealing with the general public.
Minimum qualifications include the ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of a high school diploma and one to three years of experience or service within an administrative office environment.
The minimum starting salary for the position is $37,283.
42 plus an excellent benefits package.
The position closing date is April 18, 2024 @ 5pm.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
