Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Take and develop radiographs (dental x-rays) - Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation -Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment - Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant - Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques - Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eagle Soft - Knowledge of medical terminology and dental coding Skills:
- X-Ray:
Ability to take and develop dental x-rays - Dental Assisting:
Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques - Assisting:
Ability to provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Medical Terminology:
Familiarity with medical terms related to dentistry - Dentrix:
Proficiency in using Dentrix software for patient records and scheduling -Salary:
