Qualifications:
Two year degree or equivalent preferred.
Previous work experience a plus.
Possess a working knowledge of computer systems and their basic operation.
Data input and manipulations a plus, but not mandatory.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable
Responsibilities:
Prompt and regular attendance Enters and maintains school calendar in Student Information System.
Configures SIS program to fit school needs and requirements.
Maintains network and SIS user identification, access rights, and passwords.
Assists in maintenance and/or installation of network hardware and software related to the SIS.
Keeps abreast of current computer knowledge for both software and hardware issues related to the network and the SIS.
Maintains accurate SIS database files by removing corrupted files, rebuilding files, etc.
as needed.
Creates daily back up files of the network, the SIS and other pertinent program and data files.
Uses back up files to restore lost data.
Performs requested transmissions of SIS data to the local board frame.
Trains and assists other school personnel in the use of the SIS.
Creates, edits, and prints reports from the SIS database as needed.
Maintains accurate student and staff data in SIS.
Enters and maintains accurate, up-to-date attendance records.
Prepares and justifies Twenty Day Attendance Report.
Enters and maintains accurate student and teacher schedules in SIS.
Assists in preparing a master schedule and in monitoring and balancing class size, as necessary, student schedule, and master schedules as needed.
Maintains and verifies records and generates local and state reports including, but not limited to FTE counts, Federal Impact Aid counts, and Student Record Transmissions.
Reports data and statistics from the SIS to the administrators, as well as local and State BOE as needed.
Prepares data exchange files for feeder schools near the end of the school year.
Performs end of year processing in the SIS, as directed by the Central Office.
Performs other duties as needed and requested by the supervisor and Superintendent of Schools.
Terms of Employment:
210-Day Calendar/Salary shall be paid consistent with the System's salary schedule.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
